Easy Apple Pie

Ingredients: 9-inch pie shell (frozen section of store), flour, white sugar, brown sugar, apples, butter/margarine, nutmeg, lemon juice


Directions:

1. Mix together 2 tablespoons of flour, 1 cup of white sugar, and a 1/2 cup of brown sugar.

2. Sprinkle ¼ of this mixture on the bottom of the uncooked crust

3. Add 4 ½ cups of apples (peeled, cored, sliced ¼ thick) and sprinkle with ¼ teaspoon of lemon juice

4. Add remaining sugar mixture and add 1 teaspoon of nutmeg

5. Dot with tablespoon of butter or margarine

6. Cover with dough for top crust of pie

7. Bake in oven at 450 degrees for 15 minutes

8. Reduce heat to 350 degrees for 30 minutes until apples are cooked
