Simple Coleslaw Recipe

Hello Family! Here's a quick and easy coleslaw recipe to add to your summer meals.


* 1/2 cup mayonnaise

* 2 tablespoons white sugar

* 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

* 1/4 teaspoon salt

* 1/4 cup shredded carrots

* 1 cabbage head

* 11/2 tablespoons lemon juice

* 1 tablespoon vinegar

serving size: 2-3 people

Directions: Cut 1/4 of cabbage head and hand grate the cut portion. Add grated cabbage and shredded carrots to mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, add mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon juice, and dry ingredients. Stir until dressing is creamy. Taste for desired flavor (i.e. sweeter=add more sugar, more tart= add more lemon juice). Pour dressing slowly to the bowl of shredded carrots and grated cabbage until consistency meets your preference (i.e. wetter or more dry). Chill for 15 minutes and serve.
